The ANZMAC 2006 Conference Committee invites submission of competitive papers and proposals for Special Interest Sessions for the 2006 Conference. All papers and proposed Special Interest Sessions must reflect the conference theme Advancing Theory, Maintaining Relevance.

Details for Authors

All papers and special interest topics submissions must be submitted electronically and must be received by Friday 30 June 2006. Competitive papers must be submitted for review in only one (1) track. Hence, authors should identify the most suitable track relating to the subject matter. Where multiple entries of the same paper are received, author's risk that their preferred track for the paper may not be selected as the Proceedings Chair will nominate the track in which it will be reviewed.

Details of the online submission process are given at Guidelines for competitive papers.

Papers must conform to the format instructions. Please keep an exact copy for future reference. Papers will be subjected to formal double blind peer review. Authors will be notified of acceptance, rejection and/or suggested modifications as soon as the review process has been completed. Decisions by Track Chairs are final. Please see key dates for submission and revisiondeadlines. It is a condition of acceptance of the paper that at least one of the authors must attend the conference and present the paper. However no author may present more than two papers at the conference.

Reviewers for ANZMAC 2006 will judge all manuscripts on the basis of their contributions to the development of marketing thought, marketing science or marketing practice. Papers will be judged on their overall quality and their contribution to the theme. Papers that merely review the literature are discouraged.

Special Interest Sessions

Special Interest Sessions provide an opportunity for focused discussions on new, innovative and emerging topics within marketing. Organisers of special interest topics are invited to submit a proposal for consideration by the Conference Committee.

ANZMAC 2006 also invites submissions for Special Interest Sessions. A maximum of four (4) Special Interest Sessions will be accepted. Proposals must include a rationale, an outline of the issues to be discussed and the name(s) and qualifications of a proposed Chair(s). Please refer to Guidelines for Special Interest Sessions.

Email all proposals for Special Interest Sessions to the Editorial Committee by Friday 28 July, 2006.

Publication

All papers accepted for presentation following the formal review competitive process will be published in the Conference Proceedings. These proceedings will be provided to all conference delegates, and will be available for sale to the general public. This procedure is designed to satisfy the conditions required by the Australian Government's Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) for the recognition of papers in the Proceedings as Category E, Conference Publications: E1 – Full Written Paper – Refereed. Proceedings will have an ISBN number.

Invitation to Review

Academics interested in assisting with the review process should register their interest to Dr Judy Drennan, Proceedings Chair. Please nominate the track(s) in your field of expertise by email to: anzmac2006.proceedings@qut.edu.au.
